How to say it (many + countable (books); much + uncountable (water)): Countable (can count: books, eggs) → many, a few, few. Uncountable (water, sugar, time) → much, a little, little. some = positive sentences and offers (some water); any = negatives and questions (any questions? no money left? – not any). a lot of and enough work with both: a lot of friends, a lot of milk, enough chairs, enough time. a few / a little = कुछ (enough to be useful); few / little = बहुत कम (almost none).
