How to say it (verb + small word = new meaning: look + for = ढूँढना): Some verbs always take a fixed word: wait for, listen to, depend on, agree with. Learn them as a pair. Phrasal verbs: verb + up/off/on/in/after = new meaning (give up = छोड़ देना, look after = देखभाल करना). With a pronoun, put it in the middle: pick me up, switch it off, fill it in.
