Interview Skills Worksheet: STAR Method
Tip (S-T-A-R): Situation = the background (where, when). Task = your goal or responsibility. Action = what you did, step by step. Result = the outcome, with a number if you can. Spend most of the answer on the Action, and say “I”, not only “we”. Use STAR for questions that begin “Tell me about a time…” or “Give an example of…”.
