The method (Know the totals): Acute < 90°, right = 90°, obtuse between 90° and 180°, straight = 180°, reflex between 180° and 360°. Angles on a straight line add up to 180°; angles around a point add up to 360°. Each hour mark on a clock is 30° apart (360° ÷ 12). Turning clockwise from North: 90° → East, 180° → South, 270° → West.
