The method (Read the key first): Pictograph: number of symbols × the value of one symbol (the key). Bar graph: read the height of each bar; tallest bar = most, shortest bar = fewest; "how many more" = difference of two bars. Mean = total of the numbers ÷ how many numbers. Range = highest − lowest.
