Memory Techniques Worksheet: Names and Spellings
Memory tip (Hear it, say it, see it): Names: say it back, use it in a sentence, link it to a picture of its meaning (Kiran = ray of light → in a bright ray of light). Losing names: thinking of your reply, looking at your phone, never using the name, hearing it only once. Spellings: say it in parts as written (en-vi-ron-ment), find a word inside it, then look, cover, write and check.
