Ratio and Proportion Worksheet
The method (One part): Divide in a ratio a : b: one part = total ÷ (a + b); shares are a parts and b parts. If you know one share, one part = that share ÷ its number of parts. Proportion a : b = c : d means a × d = b × c (fourth proportional d = b × c ÷ a; third proportional to a and b is b × b ÷ a).
