Artist's tip (Repeat around the centre): Radial symmetry: the pattern repeats around a centre (mandala, round rangoli, sunflower, snowflake). Line symmetry: fold along the line and the halves match — a heart has 1, a rectangle 2, an equilateral triangle 3, a square 4, a regular hexagon 6. Repeating patterns: find the part that repeats (dot, line, dot, line …) and continue it.
