Adverb Worksheet
The grammar rule (How is it done?): Adjective + -ly makes most adverbs: careful → carefully, happy → happily, gentle → gently. Special ones: good → well, fast → fast (never “fastly”). Always, often, usually, never go just before the main verb: She often eats rice.
