Degrees of Comparison Worksheet
The grammar rule (as … as, -er than, the -est): Two things with “than” → comparative: taller, bigger, happier, more beautiful. One out of a whole group, with “the” → superlative: the tallest, the biggest, the most beautiful. “as … as” → positive. Special: good → better → best; bad → worse → worst. Never use “more” and -er together.
