Avoiding Repetition Worksheet
Writing tip (Say it once, then replace): After the first time, replace the name with a pronoun: he or she before the verb, his or her before a thing. Use the doer form (He, She) at the start of a sentence — never Him or Her. If a describing word comes twice, change the second one to a word with the same meaning (a big box in a huge room).
