Complete Sentence and Fragment Worksheet
Writing tip (Two parts, one idea): Find WHO or WHAT the words are about — the subject (The hungry monkey). Find WHAT HAPPENS — the predicate (grabbed a banana). Both parts, and the idea is finished? It is a complete sentence. A part missing, or words like “When the bell rang” or “Running in the park” on their own? It is a fragment.
