Kinds of Sentences Worksheet
Writing tip (What does it do?): Statement: tells something — ends with a full stop (Riya plays cricket in the park.). Question: asks something — ends with a question mark (Where is Kabir going?). Exclamation: shows a strong feeling (What a tall tree! How sweet the mango is!) — ends with !. Command: tells or asks someone to do something, starting with a doing word or Please (Wait for me at the gate.).
