Study tip (Small, same time, rewarded): A habit sticks with: the same time every day, a very small start, a cue (“after dinner…”), a ready study corner, a tick chart. A habit fails with: “only when in the mood”, starting too big, no fixed time, skipping two days, the phone beside you. Good rewards are small and come after the work (a walk, a snack, one episode); poor rewards undo it (skipping the next task, a whole day of games, staying up very late).
