Résumé Worksheet: Mistakes to Avoid

Interview skills lesson 19: Résumé mistakes to avoid · Set 610 · 40 questions

Tip (True, checked, consistent): Spelling mistakes: Experiance → Experience, Skils → Skills, Acheivements → Achievements, Responsable → Responsible. Too casual: a nickname email ID, slang hobbies, “lol”. Too vague: “Did many activities”, “Good at many things”. Never write a false claim. Good habits: proofread, a teacher’s check, one font, the same date format, PDF with a sensible file name (Name_Resume.pdf).
