Mnemonics Worksheet: Chunking Numbers
Memory tip (Fewer, bigger pieces): Split long numbers into groups of 3 or 4: a 10-digit phone number as 3-3-4; a 12-digit number as 4-4-4. Dates: 2 digits for the day, 2 for the month, 4 for the year: 26011950 → 26/01/1950. Check every digit stays in the same order — chunks group digits, they never change them.
