  1. 1.How to make a paper boat
    Step 1: Take a rectangle of paper and fold it in half from top to bottom.
    Step 2: Fold the two top corners down to the middle to make a triangle.
    Step 3: Fold the strips at the bottom up on both sides.
    Step 4: Open the middle and press it flat into a square.
    Step 5: Pull the top corners out gently to get your boat.
    Now float it in a tub of water!

  2. 2.Sprouts chaat
    You need: one bowl of sprouted moong, one chopped tomato, one chopped cucumber, lemon juice, salt and chaat masala.
    Step 1: Wash the sprouts well in clean water.
    Step 2: Put them in a big bowl with the tomato and cucumber.
    Step 3: Add salt, chaat masala and a few drops of lemon juice.
    Step 4: Mix with a spoon and serve at once.
    This healthy snack needs no fire at all!

    You need: two lemons, four spoons of sugar, a jug of cold water and a pinch of salt.
    Step 1: Ask an adult to cut the lemons into halves.
    Step 2: Squeeze the juice of the lemons into the jug of water.
    Step 3: Add the sugar and the salt.
    Step 4: Stir well until the sugar disappears.
    Step 5: Pour into glasses and add ice if you like.

  8. 8.Quick curd rice
    You need: one bowl of cooked rice, one cup of fresh curd, a little salt, some grated carrot and a few curry leaves.
    Step 1: Make sure the rice has cooled down.
    Step 2: Mash the rice lightly with a spoon.
    Step 3: Add the curd and salt, and mix well.
    Step 4: Put the grated carrot on top.
    Step 5: Ask an adult to add the curry leaves fried in a little oil.
    Curd rice keeps you cool on hot days.

    Step 1: Wet your hands with clean running water.

    Step 5: Rinse off the soap with water.
    Step 6: Dry your hands with a clean towel.

    Step 1: Fold a sheet of chart paper in half.
    Step 2: Draw a diya on the front with crayons.

    Step 4: Write “Happy Diwali” inside in your best handwriting.
    Step 5: Sign your name below the message.
    Now give the card to someone you love!

  12. 12.Grow a bean in a jar
    Step 1: Fold a wet tissue paper and put it inside a glass jar.
    Step 2: Push a bean seed between the tissue and the glass.
    Step 3: Keep the jar near a sunny window.
    Step 4: Add a little water every day so the tissue stays wet.
    In about four days, a tiny root will come out. Soon a green shoot will grow upwards.
