Food Names in English Worksheet
Speaking tips (Key words): We eat food and drink milk, water or tea. Say what you like: “I like mangoes.” “I don’t like carrots.” Use an before a vowel sound (an apple, an egg), a before other sounds (a banana), and some for drinks or more than one (some water). Words like mango and tomato add -es for more than one: mangoes, tomatoes. Ask politely: “May I have a banana, please?” “Can I have some water, please?”
