Vedic maths trick 1: Multiply by 11 · Set 3 · 40 sums

The trick (Urdhva Tiryagbhyam (special case)): Write the first and last digit of the number, leaving a gap. Add the two digits and put the sum in the gap. If the sum is 10 or more, write its last digit and carry 1 to the left.
