Multiply by 9 and 99 Worksheet
The trick (Ekanyunena Purvena): Write the number with as many digits as there are nines (add zeros in front if needed). Left part: the number minus 1. Right part: “all from 9 and the last from 10” of the number. More digits than the nines (237 × 99)? Split off as many digits as there are nines (2 | 37): left = number − (front part + 1) = 234, right = complement of 37 = 63 → 23463.
