Recurring Decimals Worksheet
The trick (Ekadhikena Purvena): Denominator ending in 9: find the Ekadhika — one more than the digits before the 9 (19 → 2, 29 → 3, 39 → 4, 59 → 6). Start: the top number ÷ Ekadhika gives the first decimal digit and a remainder. Every next digit: put the remainder in front of the last digit and divide by the Ekadhika again.
