Working Base Multiplication Worksheet
The trick (Anurupyena): Pick the working base (like 40 = 4 × 10 or 300 = 3 × 100) and write each number’s difference from it. Cross-add as in trick 3, then multiply that left part by 4 (or 3, 5…). Right part: multiply the differences — 1 digit for a × 10 base, 2 digits for a × 100 base (carry the extra).
