Chapter 8: Grouping and Sharing
Introduction
Grouping and Sharing introduces two big ideas: multiplication (adding equal groups) and division (sharing equally or making equal groups). It starts on a road: a child counts the wheels of bicycles and autorickshaws by adding, but misses the cars. Ramya shows a faster way — "There were 7 cars and each car had 4 wheels, so the total number of wheels is 7 times 4, means 28."

- →Do the 24-object array project and list all the facts found.
- →Act out sharing gulab jamuns one by one to show fair sharing.
