1. What TalentJR is
TalentJR offers free learning resources — CBSE & NCERT notes, Maharashtra Board solutions, worksheets, quizzes, flashcards, courses, games, coding lessons, student tools and AI study help — plus your personal AI teacher in My learning, My TalentJR (classes, friends, parents and tutors), Game Studio, Tutor Studio and live classes with ✓ Verified tutors (video, chat, file and screen sharing in your browser). Learning content is free. Live classes and some tutor courses are paid — see section 8. Some pages show ads (see the Privacy Policy).
2. Your account
- You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account safe; you are responsible for what happens in your TalentJR account.
- Give true information about your role and class. Parent and tutor roles are for adults (18+).
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other users, especially children, at risk.
3. Be kind and safe
- No bullying, threats, hateful, adult or violent content, and nothing that is not yours to share.
- Do not share or ask for phone numbers, addresses, photos or money, and do not move a child’s conversation off TalentJR. Use “Report” if anyone makes you feel unsafe — we check every report.
- Do not use TalentJR for advertising, spam or selling, and do not try to break, overload, scrape or copy the service.
4. Your personal AI teacher and AI answers
- What it is. The AI tutor on every chapter, Homework help (Study Buddy) and My learning share one learning profile. TalentJR works out what you have mastered and what needs practice only from your marked answers (quizzes, level tests, learning games, daily practice and the check-ups inside a lesson) — the AI explains and gives hints, but it never marks a test or decides your progress.
- Guidance, not a report card. Progress, “Do this next” suggestions, revision dates, plans and “retention” figures are study guidance. They are not school, board or exam results, and we cannot promise any result. A change is shown as “higher” or “lower” only when it is more than chance; otherwise we say “can’t tell yet”.
- Use it to learn, not to copy. AI answers can be wrong — check important answers with your textbook or teacher. Do not use TalentJR to cheat in a test or exam, and do not type personal details (phone, address, school) into AI chats or lessons.
- Fair use. AI help has a free daily allowance and a lesson has a limit on AI replies, so everyone gets a fair share. We may pause AI features for an account that misuses them.
- Your choices. You (or a linked parent for a child) can switch personalised help and learning memories off, delete memories or a lesson conversation, download your learning data and decide whether a tutor may see a progress summary — see the Privacy Policy.
5. Content and copyright
- TalentJR’s own text, worksheets, games, pictures and software belong to TalentJR. You may use them for your own learning and print worksheets for home or classroom use; please do not republish them elsewhere without our written permission.
- Textbooks and syllabi belong to their publishers (for example NCERT and Balbharati). TalentJR is not connected with CBSE, NCERT or the Maharashtra State Board — see the Disclaimer.
- Things you create (games, posts, portfolio text, tutor material) stay yours. You allow TalentJR to store and show them where you choose to share them. Only upload material you made or are allowed to use. Tutor profiles, courses and files are public only after TalentJR approves them, and we may remove anything that breaks these terms.
6. Tutors
Tutors are independent teachers, not TalentJR employees. “✓ Verified” means our team checked the tutor’s identity — it is not a guarantee of results. Parents choose a tutor themselves and can see every chat with their child. A tutor sees a student’s progress summary only when the student (18+) or a linked parent (under 18) switches sharing on, and never the student’s AI conversations; tutors must use it only to help that student.
- Who can teach and sell. Only ✓ Verified tutors (₹9 for one year and a short call with our team; the badge appears only if we approve you) can teach live classes and sell courses. Tutors must be 18 or older.
- Prices. Tutors set their own prices — at least ₹99 per student per class (TalentJR may change this minimum for future bookings). A new price applies only to new bookings.
- Fees and payouts. TalentJR keeps a 10% platform fee; Razorpay’s payment fee is also taken from the tutor’s share. TalentJR pays tutors every 15 days (the 1st and the 16th) for earnings that are ready — a live class 3 days after it ended, a course sale 7 days after payment — to the UPI ID or bank account the tutor gives (with PAN). Earnings shown before that are estimates, and taxes such as TDS may apply.
- Only through TalentJR. Tutors must not take payment, share contact details or arrange classes with a TalentJR student outside TalentJR. We may remove a tutor who does.
7. Live classes
- Who can join. Only the tutor, the students of that class (or who booked it) and their linked parents. Classes open 10 minutes before they start (30 minutes for the tutor). A student under 18 books through a parent: the parent books it, or approves and pays for the class the child asked for (“Ask my parent”). A parent may join their child’s class at any time.
- Not recorded. TalentJR does not record classes. Do not record, photograph or share a class or anyone in it.
- Chat. Class chat is saved so parents and TalentJR can check it. Phone numbers, e-mail addresses and links are hidden automatically. The tutor can delete messages; anyone can report a message, and our team reviews every report.
- Files. Share only PDFs and pictures for the class that you made or may share. Files are private to the class and are deleted after 30 days.
- Screen sharing. Show only what belongs to the class. Students can share their screen only when the tutor allows it.
- Behaviour. Section 3 applies in every class. The tutor can remove someone who breaks these rules, and we may suspend accounts.
- Attendance. We record when each person joined and left a class, to settle questions about a missed class and to pay tutors correctly.
8. Paying, cancelling and refunds
You pay only through TalentJR’s checkout (Razorpay). The price you see is the total you pay. A class is confirmed only when the payment is confirmed. Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy; the rules shown when you booked apply to that booking.
9. Certificates and rewards
TalentJR certificates and badges show what a learner completed on TalentJR. They are not school or board qualifications. Rewards and gifts follow the rules on the Rewards page.
10. Availability and liability
We work hard to keep TalentJR correct and online, but the service is provided “as is”, without any warranty that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, TalentJR is not liable for any loss caused by using, or not being able to use, the service. Links to other websites are for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
11. Changes
We may change TalentJR or these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; using TalentJR after a change means you accept it.
