Summary :

‘A Lesson for All’ is a drama which conveys a very important message of keeping the environment clean by taking effective steps in waste management Very often, we dump the waste in the forest and in water bodies like ponds, lakes, seas etc thereby threatening the life of animals and birds in it.

The trees are dying due to increase in toxic i.e. poisonous wastes and this has a direct impact on the birds as they are left with no place to roost or build nests. The litter which includes glass and other sharp objects hurt the young ones of the animals and sometimes they die due to no medical help available.

Waste disposal in water bodies has serious consequences. We dump waste which contains chemicals and poisonous substances killing not only the fish but the other animals which fall ill and die due to the polluted water. In this drama, the animals and the birds decide to teach a lesson to the humans by dumping the garbage back into the town.

This action not only takes the people by surprise but puts them through the same inconvenience which is faced by the members of the animal king dom It becomes an eye-opener, a lesson for all. The people and the Mayor make a promise to mend their ways-to sort and process the garbage and dispose it in an eco-friendly way. They promise to save our mother earth from further harm.
