What are aquatic animals?

Aquatic animals live in water for all or most of their life — fish, whales, dolphins, octopuses, crabs and jellyfish.

Is a whale a fish?

No. A whale is a mammal: it breathes air with lungs and feeds its babies milk. Fish breathe with gills.

Which is the largest water animal?

The blue whale — it is the largest animal that has ever lived.
