IQ test for kids — questions from parents

Is this a real IQ test?

It is a free practice test made of IQ-style questions — number series, patterns, words and logic. It gives an instant score and shows which areas are strong. It is not a standardised IQ test, so it does not give an IQ number: a real IQ score needs a test given by a qualified psychologist and compared with large groups of children of the same age.

What age is the IQ test for?

There are three versions: ages 6–9 (Class 1–4), ages 10–13 (Class 5–8) and ages 14 and up. Choose the one for your age; you can try the others too.

How long does it take?

About 10–15 minutes for 20 questions. There is a clock, but no time limit — accuracy matters more than speed.

Can you get better at IQ-style questions?

Yes. Questions like number series, patterns and analogies get easier with practice, because you learn to spot the common rules. The free Logical Reasoning course teaches each type step by step.

Is my child’s score saved or shared?

No. The whole test runs in your browser and nothing is sent to TalentJR. Only your last score is kept on this device so you can compare next time.
