TalentJR apps
An OTP (one-time password) is a short code sent to a phone to log in or approve a payment. A PIN is the secret number for a phone, card or payment app. Whoever has them can act as you. Real banks, shops and games never ask you to read out an OTP — so anyone who asks, on a call, in a chat or “for a prize”, is trying to trick you. Don’t share it, and tell a parent.
✓ You passed this lesson’s test.
Nobody asks for an OTP — “not a bank, not a game, not a friend — an OTP stays with you”
Use it for: Calls from “the bank”, messages offering prizes or coins, and any request for a code.
Check: Try it: with a parent, look at a real OTP message and find the line that says not to share it ✓
