A passphrase is a few random words joined together — kite, river, lamp. Picture a kite flying over a river next to a lamp and you will not forget it. Add capitals and a couple of digits or symbols (Kite-River-Lamp47) and it follows every rule. Good habits matter too: one password per account, never telling friends, typing it where nobody can see, and changing it at once if a site says it leaked.
✓ You passed this lesson’s test.

Use it for: Making a new password, changing an old one and setting up accounts with a parent.
Check: Try it: make up a practice passphrase (not one you will use) from three random things in your room and check it with the rule ✓
