Every electronics project can be planned as input → process → output. In a plant-watering project the input is the soil moisture reading, the process is the program deciding whether the soil is dry, and the output is the pump turning on. Plan in order: pick a problem, list inputs and outputs, draw the circuit diagram, build it with an adult using a low-voltage kit, then test it and fix it.

Input, process, output — “list what is sensed, what the program decides and what happens”
Use it for: Planning a science-fair or school IoT project, team robotics and design-and-technology lessons.
Check: “the pump turns on” would be the output ✓
