What do children learn in primary-school computers?

Primary-school computer lessons teach children what a computer is, how its parts work together, and how to use it safely and well. Children learn to tell a machine from a living thing, name the monitor, keyboard, mouse and CPU, sort input and output devices, care for a computer, and use the mouse and keyboard correctly. Later they learn the difference between hardware and software, storage units (1 byte = 8 bits, 1 KB = 1024 bytes), RAM and storage, files and folders, typing and formatting in a word processor, the internet, email, and a little computer history. In Class 5 they begin computational thinking — algorithms, flowcharts, block coding and spreadsheets — and learn to stay safe online. This free course has 6 lessons for each class: Class 1 (what a computer is, parts, uses, care, mouse basics), Class 2 (input and output devices, keyboard keys, mouse actions, starting and shutting down, paint tools), Class 3 (hardware and software, storage units, memory, files and folders, cut, copy and paste), Class 4 (the operating system, formatting text, the internet, email, history of computers) and Class 5 (algorithms, flowcharts, block coding, spreadsheets and cyber safety). Every class ends with a practice test.

Computer worksheet kaise karwaye? (Hindi)
