TalentJR apps
A microcontroller is a tiny computer on one chip, with a processor, memory and input/output pins. It hides inside washing machines, microwave ovens, TV remotes and toy robots. A beginner microcontroller board puts the chip on a small board with a USB port (for power and new code), pins (to connect sensors and LEDs), a reset button and a power LED. We write a program on a computer, upload it over USB, and the board runs its main loop again and again. It is powered safely by USB or a small battery — never the mains.
