Business basics for teenagers: a sole trader is one owner who runs the business, keeps all the profit and owes its debts — the simplest way to start. A company is a separate legal body, owned by shareholders and run by directors; the owners’ risk is limited to their share. Revenue is all the money from sales (price × number sold); profit is what is left after the costs. Formal steps like registering or tax are done by adults — ask an adult or an expert.
