Risks, safety and ethics — Entrepreneurship for kids
Every business has risks — rain on sale day, stock that does not sell — so plan for them and start small. Stay safe: an adult at the stove and with knives, clean covered food, sell in known places, never visit strangers alone or share your address online. Be ethical: the same clear price for everyone, honest claims, correct change, a refund if something breaks. For tax or legal questions, ask an adult or an expert.
Safe and honest — “plan for what could go wrong and never cheat a customer”
Safe: an adult at the stove, washing hands, covering food, known places, a parent knows the plan, cash in a box. Unsafe: visiting strangers alone, sharing your address, selling alone after dark, knives or hot oil without an adult.
Honest: clear prices for all, ingredients listed, true photos, correct change, refunds. Dishonest: fake discounts, secret higher prices, false health claims, hiding faults, made-up reviews.
Lower risk by planning early and starting small; tax and legal questions go to an adult or an expert.

Stoves and hot liquids can burn; an adult in charge keeps everyone safe.
