💡 Learn it first

Length: 1 m = 100 cm; 1 km = 1000 m. Weight: 1 kg = 1000 g. Capacity: 1 l = 1000 ml.
Big unit → small unit: multiply (3 m = 300 cm). Small → big: divide (4000 g = 4 kg).
2350 g = 2 kg 350 g. When adding, add the small units first and carry: 1 kg 700 g + 2 kg 500 g = 4 kg 200 g.
