If 6 pens cost ₹90, one pen costs ₹90 ÷ 6 = ₹15, so 10 pens cost ₹150. That is the unitary method: always go through “one”. When more workers need fewer days, it works the other way round (inverse).
✓ You passed this lesson’s test.
Go through one — “find the value of one unit, then multiply”
Use it for: Shopping, recipes, fuel and distance, workers and days — and the base of ratio, percentage and time-and-work.
Check: 150 ÷ 10 = 15 = 90 ÷ 6 — same price per pen ✓
