What is quantitative aptitude?

Quantitative aptitude means using the maths you already learn at school — numbers, fractions, ratios, percentages, speed and shapes — to solve real word problems quickly and correctly. It is the maths section of scholarship tests, NTSE-style mental ability papers, Olympiads and, later, almost every competitive exam. This free course is made for Class 5 to Class 10: Part 1 (ages 10–12) builds number skills like HCF, LCM, BODMAS, ratio and percentage; Part 2 (ages 12–14) covers everyday maths such as profit and loss, discount, interest, averages, ages, speed and work; Part 3 (ages 14–16) moves on to trains and boats, pipes, mixtures, partnership, area, volume, equations and data interpretation. Every lesson explains one method, works an example, and gives unlimited practice with “Show me how”, a 20-question test, a badge and printable worksheets.

Quantitative Aptitude for Kids questions

What is quantitative aptitude for kids?

It is school maths used to solve word problems quickly: HCF and LCM, fractions, ratios, percentages, profit and loss, interest, averages, speed, work, area, volume and data. This free course teaches each topic with a method, a worked example and unlimited practice.

Quantitative aptitude kaise sikhe? (Hindi)

अटकें तो “Show me how” दबाएँ। रोज़ थोड़ा अभ्यास करने से गति और सटीकता दोनों बढ़ती हैं।

What age or class is this aptitude course for?

It is made for ages 10–16 (Class 5 to Class 10). Part 1 (number skills) suits ages 10–12, Part 2 (everyday maths) ages 12–14, and Part 3 (aptitude challenge) ages 14–16. Older students preparing for competitive exams can use it for revision too.

Does this help with scholarship, NTSE-style and Olympiad tests?

Yes. Scholarship tests, NTSE-style mental ability and maths papers, and maths Olympiads all ask these question types: percentages, ratios, averages, speed, work, interest, mensuration and data. The questions here are our own, made fresh by the computer each time.

Which formulas should my child learn first?

Start with HCF and LCM, BODMAS, the unitary method, ratio and the percentage formula (Part 1). Almost every later topic — profit and loss, discount, interest, speed and work — is built on these.

How can my child get faster at aptitude questions?

Practise one topic at a time until the method is automatic, then mix topics. Always round and estimate first so you can spot a wrong option, and check each answer by putting it back into the question. Accuracy first, speed later.

How do I get a certificate?

Sign in and pass the 20-question test of a lesson (16 or more right) to earn its badge. Pass every lesson in a part — Part 1 is lessons 1–10, Part 2 is 11–20, Part 3 is 21–30 — and you get that part’s certificate, with a code anyone can check.

Are there printable aptitude worksheets?

Yes. Every lesson has free printable worksheets with 40 questions and an answer key. Print them, save them as PDF or solve them online.

Is this quantitative aptitude course free?
