TalentJR apps
The Internet of Things (IoT) is everyday things that connect to the internet to send or receive data — a smart plug, an app-controlled bulb, a Wi-Fi weather station or a smart energy meter. A sensor measures, the microcontroller reads the value and sends it over Wi-Fi, a cloud server stores it and a phone app shows it. Commands can go the other way to an actuator, like switching a light from your phone. If a sensor sends one reading every 10 seconds, it sends 6 a minute and 12 in 2 minutes.
✓ You passed this lesson’s test.
Sense, send, store, show — “sensor measures → board sends by Wi-Fi → cloud stores → app shows”
Use it for: Learning about smart homes and smart cities, science projects with a Wi-Fi microcontroller board and IoT lessons in school.
Check: 12 × 10 s = 120 s = 2 minutes ✓
