Every lever has three parts: the fulcrum (pivot), the load (what is moved) and the effort (your push or pull). Which part is in the middle tells the class. Class 1: fulcrum in the middle — a seesaw, a crowbar, scissors. Class 2: load in the middle — a wheelbarrow, a nutcracker, a bottle opener. Class 3: effort in the middle — tweezers, kitchen tongs, a fishing rod and your own forearm.

What is in the middle? — “fulcrum → class 1, load → class 2, effort → class 3”
Use it for: Science lessons on levers, sorting tools at home and understanding how our arms work.
Check: A wheelbarrow also has the load between the wheel (fulcrum) and the handles — class 2 ✓
