Most robots are built from the same main parts. The frame (body) holds everything together. Motors are the muscles that turn the wheels and move arms. Sensors are the eyes, ears and skin that tell the robot what is around it. The controller is the brain: a small computer that runs the program. The battery stores the energy. Many robots also have wheels to roll and a gripper (a robot hand) to pick things up.

Use it for: Opening a robot kit or a broken toy with an adult, drawing your own robot and science lessons on machines.
Check: The motors move it, the sensors notice — only the controller runs the program ✓
