Remember

Find the topic, use the idea — “decide which lesson a question comes from, then use that lesson’s idea”

  1. Find the topic: energy, safety, conductor, closed loop, switches, cells, symbols, series or parallel.
  2. Use that lesson’s idea — complete loop, all ON for series, cells add up, one path or many.
  3. For sums, write the working and check it again.

Use it for: Revising electricity basics before a science test or before moving on to Ohm’s law.

Worked example: 🔋 How many 1.5 V cells must be joined in series to give 6 V? → 4

  1. In series the voltages add, so count how many 1.5 V make 6 V.
  2. 6 ÷ 1.5 = 4 cells.

Check: 4 × 1.5 = 6 ✓
