Think of water in a pipe. Voltage (volts, V) is the push, like water pressure. Current (amperes, A) is how much charge flows, like the flow of water. Resistance (ohms, Ω) slows the flow, like a narrow pipe. Power is measured in watts (W). A voltmeter measures voltage and is joined across a part; an ammeter measures current and is joined in series. Small and big units: 1 A = 1000 mA, 1 kΩ = 1000 Ω, 1 kW = 1000 W.
