Harder series where two rules work at once — type the answer yourself (no options to guess from): two series woven together, jumps that grow, multiply-then-add, cube numbers with a twist, and each-term-is-the-sum-of-the-two-before.
Write the jumps between the numbers under the series — then look at the jumps of the jumps.
If the numbers go up and down, split them: 1st, 3rd, 5th … and 2nd, 4th, 6th … are often two separate series.
Fast growth? Try × 2 or × 3 with a small + or −, or cube numbers: 1, 8, 27, 64, 125, 216 …
