Letter series — Logical reasoning for kids

How to think it through

Letters are numbers — “change each letter to its place in the alphabet and find the jump”

1. Write the position of each letter: A = 1, B = 2 … (remember E = 5, J = 10, O = 15, T = 20, Y = 25).
2. Find the jump between the positions — forwards, backwards or growing.
3. Take one more jump and turn the number back into a letter. For pairs like AB, CD, EF, treat each letter of the pair as its own series.

Use it for: Alphabet series in reasoning tests, coding–decoding, and dictionary order.
