Before an app is published, two things matter. Privacy: an app should ask only for the permissions its job needs — a map needs location, a scanner needs the camera, but a torch never needs your contacts. Publishing: every release gets a version number major.minor.patch. A bug fix adds 1 to the patch, a new feature adds 1 to the minor, a big change adds 1 to the major. Compare versions number by number, never as text: 1.10.0 is newer than 1.2.0.
