Gems, coins, skins, loot boxes and season passes may look like play money, but they are bought with real rupees — by card, a payment app or gift cards — and small amounts add up fast. Always ask a parent before buying anything, and ignore “only 2 minutes left!” timers that rush you. Many chat and video apps are only for ages 13 and up, and games carry age ratings like 7+, 12+ or 16+: they exist to keep younger users safe, so wait or ask a parent instead of faking your age.
