Focus grid — a Schulte table to train your attention

The numbers 1 to 25 are mixed up in a 5×5 grid. Tap them in order — 1, 2, 3… — as fast as you can. A quick focus drill before homework or study.

How to play Focus Grid

  1. Choose 4×4 (1–16), 5×5 (1–25, the classic Schulte table) or 6×6 (1–36).
  2. The clock starts at once. Find 1 and tap it, then 2, then 3… all the way to the end.
  3. A wrong tap is not a problem — it is only counted. Your score is the time it takes to find them all.
  4. Finish a 5×5 or 6×6 grid in 30 seconds or less for the Laser Focus badge.

Focus Grid — questions

What is a Schulte table?

A grid of mixed-up numbers that you find in order as fast as you can. It is a simple, popular exercise for practising focus and fast visual search.

How should I look at the grid?

Try to keep your eyes near the centre and let them find the next number, instead of reading every square. With practice your times will drop.

What is a good time?

For a 5×5 grid, under a minute is a good start, 30–40 seconds is very good, and under 30 seconds earns the Laser Focus badge. Beat your own best.

Does this game treat attention problems?

No. It is a fun practice game, not a medical test or treatment. If you are worried about attention, please talk to a doctor or school counsellor.
