Remember

Clean, dry, gentle — “a Do keeps the computer clean, dry and safe”

1. Do: cover it, keep it dust-free, keep food and water away, use clean dry hands, clean it with a soft dry cloth.
2. Don’t: eat near it, spill water, touch it with wet hands, bang the keyboard, pull wires while it runs.
3. Sit straight, at arm’s length from the screen; in a thunderstorm, shut down and unplug.

Use it for: Class 1 lessons on computer-lab rules, care of machines at home and making a dos-and-don’ts chart.
