Everything we save on a computer is a file — a story, a drawing, a song or a video. A folder holds many files, like a school bag holds books, and a folder inside another folder is a subfolder. We can create, save, open, rename, copy, move and delete files. The ending of a file name tells its type: .jpg for a picture, .mp3 for a sound, .mp4 for a video and .txt for text.
