What your ice-cream-stick photo frame can look like
Materials
- 8 ice-cream sticks, washed and dried
- White glue
- Poster paints or sketch pens
- A photo or your own drawing
- A piece of cardboard for the back
- Buttons, paper shapes or old bindis to decorate
- A loop of thread
Tools
- Paintbrush
- Child-safe scissors
Steps
- Lay two sticks side by side, a little apart, standing up.
- Glue two sticks across them, one at the top and one at the bottom, to make a square.
- Glue a second layer of four sticks on top to make the frame stronger. Let it dry.
- Paint the frame and let it dry again.
- Decorate it with buttons or paper shapes.
- Glue the photo or drawing on cardboard cut a little bigger than the hole, and glue it behind the frame.
- Glue a loop of thread at the back to hang it up.
⚠️ Safety noteButtons and bindis are small — keep them away from toddlers. Use washable, non-toxic paint.
